This remarkable 1974 MGB Roadster underwent a complete rebuild by CCHL Classic and Sports Cars Specialist loctaed in Hull in the spring of 2021, based on CCHL's V8 restomod specification with several additional enhancements. The bespoke specifications included :
Body and Paint: A new heritage body shell with a refurbished windscreen frame and quarter lights. The car is painted in BLVC93 Bracken color, with the body etched and primed before painting. It has been undersealed, fully machine polished, and coated with a high-end, 5-year guaranteed ceramic coating from Fenlabs, applied by Perfect Polish in Shrewsbury.
Engine: A 4.0L cross-bolted version of the Rover V8 engine with a 3.9L camshaft for freer revving, built and supplied by Vitesse Global, complemented by a bespoke exhaust system.
Additional Features:
Clive Wheatley MG rocker covers
Wilwood front disc brakes and new rear drums
Edelbrock carburetor
Revotec electric twin fan setup
MX5 5-speed gearbox supplied by Vitesse Global

Wheels and Tires: 15” anthracite-colored Minilite style wheels with Avon ZT7 tires.
This is a restomod MGB Roadster with the performance of a modern 200bhp per tonne car. It boasts brakes capable of handling its performance, and its enhanced suspension and LSD enable full utilisation of the V8's power. The free-revving V8, with its bespoke exhaust system, produces a glorious sound more reminiscent of a TVR than a traditional MGB.
The car has covered just under 3,600 miles since the rebuild and has always been garaged and stored under a cover. It has never been driven on salted roads and is rarely caught in the rain.
