Summary:

This exemplary car is a testament to meticulous restoration, boasting a matching numbers chassis and a thorough nut and bolt restoration process. Accompanied by comprehensive documentation and vivid photographs, this vehicle showcases remarkable attention to detail, evident both underneath and on the surface.

Originally designated for the UK market, this right-hand drive model was delivered brand new to Brittains in Brighton on 24th July, 1968. Resplendent in Tartan Red, it features iconic wire wheels, overdrive, heater, and a folding hood.

The meticulous restoration, spanning from 2013 to 2016, was orchestrated by Mistral Cars in Berkshire. Employing the renowned Euromart Blasting "gold grit" method, the car's body shell was stripped to its bare essentials before being meticulously reconstructed. Utilising Heritage or in-house manufactured components, every panel was scrutinised and replaced as necessary. The engine, gearbox, and rear axle underwent thorough refurbishment, alongside the suspension, brakes, and shock absorbers. The interior was tastefully retrimmed in black with red piping, complemented by a meticulously restored dashboard and newly covered black leather seats. A Heritage baffled fuel tank, copper/nickel brake and fuel lines, and chrome silver painted wire wheels further accentuate its flawless exterior. All brightwork has been meticulously replaced or re-chromed, while the screen and quarters shine anew.
