This 1971 Triumph GT6 MK3, a genuine home market vehicle with matching numbers, boasts a captivating custom Damson exterior paired with a sophisticated Black interior trim with wooden dash. 
With just 36,000 miles on the odometer since its inception, this GT6 is not only rare but also exceptionally well-preserved.

 

Originally exported to Sweden in 1984, this GT6 found itself in the hands of the esteemed Triumph Club Sweden a decade later. Under the skilled guidance of Henrik Larsson, an Aston Martin engineer and devoted Triumph enthusiast, the car underwent an extensive and meticulous restoration. Documented well, this restoration journey underscores the dedication and expertise poured into every detail of the car's revival. Upon completion, BRM 173J became a celebrated icon within the Swedish Triumph community, gracing numerous events across the country.

 

In 2019, a Triumph enthusiast based in Powys, Wales, seized the opportunity to bring this exceptional GT6 back to its homeland in the UK. With further care and enhancements, the car has reached its current immaculate state, showcasing stunning paintwork, pristine brightwork, and an exceptionally clean undercarriage. The engine bay stands as a testament to perfection, having undergone various upgrades to enhance performance and reliability. Internally, the GT6 features newly installed carpets, high-backed GT6 branded seats for extended touring comfort, and upgraded seatbelts. 

 

Meticulously maintained, the car recently underwent a comprehensive winter service, ensuring peak performance and reliability for the road ahead.
Service included a VR1 oil change, upgraded plugs, all filters replaced, brake & clutch fluids pumped through and replaced, antifreeze drained and replaced, gearbox and diff levels checked and trunnions oiled.

 

This GT6 represents the epitome of automotive restoration, boasting a show-standard engine bay, impeccable bodywork, and paintwork.
