The MGB GT V8 was a factory available model produced from 1973 to 1976 and a total of 2,591 examples were produced. During 2016 to 2019, KJD 505W was professionally converted to match the factory specification with upgraded brakes, suspension, wheels, tyres to safely and properly cope with the engine's power output. During this time the car also had full bodywork restoration.

Wheels & Tyres : Minilite cast alloy wheels, 4 stud fixing, 205 HR15 radial tyres.

Brakes : Lockhead front wheel discs and rear drums. Single hydraulic circuit with servo assistance.

Steering : Cam gear rack and pinion with safety collapisible steering column.
