Family’s Goodwood Festival of Speed Highlighted by Meeting YouTube Star Shmee150

A family trip to the iconic Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend turned into an unforgettable experience, with a chance encounter leaving a lasting impression on the next generation of automotive fans.

The event, which brought together some of the world’s most exciting cars, drivers, and enthusiasts, provided plenty of memorable moments for the family. However, when asked on the journey home what they enjoyed most about the weekend, the answer came as a surprise.

Despite the incredible displays, the worlds best hyper-cars, and action-packed atmosphere, the boys’ standout moment was meeting YouTube automotive superstar Tim Burton, better known online as Shmee150.

The experience highlighted how much the world has changed. Growing up, sporting heroes were often the biggest influences on young people, but today digital creators and online personalities are playing an increasingly important role in inspiring the younger generation.

Although there were many highlights from the weekend, I was surprised when the boys said meeting Shmee150 was their favourite part of the event, It really shows how much influence and impact YouTube creators now have on young people.

Thank you to Tim for being so kind with his time and making the experience so special for my boys. It is a memory they will treasure for years to come.
