Mel’s Midnight Blue MGB Roadster Continues to Turn Heads

Mel’s much-loved 1971 Midnight Blue MGB Roadster has been enjoying another busy show season, with the classic sports car continuing to attract attention wherever it goes.

Mel got in touch with us this morning to share another photograph of his beautiful MGB, which has been proudly displayed at a number of events throughout this year’s show season.

The 1971 roadster is clearly much more than a showpiece, however, with Mel continuing to enjoy getting behind the wheel and taking the MGB out on the road whenever he can. Alongside plenty of driving, the car has also been making regular appearances at classic vehicle events, giving fellow enthusiasts the chance to admire it.

One of the latest outings came at the Shropshire Distinguished Gentleman’s Event in Shropshire last weekend, where the Midnight Blue MGB attracted plenty of attention.

After owning and enjoying the car, it is clear that the MGB has become a real pride and joy for Mel. It is particularly good to see such a well-loved classic continuing to be used, enjoyed and shared with other enthusiasts rather than simply being kept tucked away in a garage.
