We often get asked about some of the cars that appear in the background of The Forge photos—many of which belong to our own private collection.
Today, we’re sharing a special one: our 1953 Austin Healey 100/4 BN1, finished to M-Specification Le Mans.
Resplendent in Healey Blue with a blue leather interior, this stunning car underwent a full restoration in 2019. It was also the last car Dad purchased for his collection—a truly special piece of history for us. Sadly, he only managed to put around 50 miles on the clock, but he enjoyed every single one.
Now, this beautiful Healey remains part of The Forge’s private collection and, when time allows, makes appearances at local car meets.
Pictured above is Dad in 2019, giving the car a final clean before tucking it away for winter storage—a memory we will always cherish.
