It’s been an exciting week at The Forge as we've welcomed not one, but two outstanding MGB Roadsters to our showroom—each representing the very best of British classic motoring, albeit in very different ways.

Leading the arrivals is a beautifully restored 1970 MGB Roadster, the result of a meticulous, no-expense-spared nut-and-bolt restoration completed in 2024 by Carn Bosavern Garage in Cornwall. With restoration costs in the region of £40,000, this stunning example has been returned to an exceptional standard, offering its next owner the opportunity to enjoy one of the finest MGBs we've seen.

Alongside it sits something altogether more exhilarating—a 1974 MGB Roadster Restomod, expertly rebuilt in 2021 by CCHL Classic & Sports Cars Specialists in East Yorkshire. Beneath its classic exterior lies a superb 4.0-litre Rover V8, transforming the driving experience while retaining the timeless appeal of the original design. Built to an exceptional standard, this remarkable car represents an investment of well over £50,000.
