This well-presented and highly usable Triumph Stag is finished in its correct Triumph colour of Magenta, complemented by black upholstery and original Rostyle wheels. It has arrived with us fully on the button and driving very well.

First registered in June 1973, this automatic example has clearly led a sheltered life. The car spent many years in the warmer climate of the Arboleas region of Spain, and as a result it is structurally excellent and displays a notable level of originality.

The Giovanni Michelotti–designed bodywork, finished in bright Magenta, offers strong curb appeal. It is well complemented by a freshly re-trimmed interior and a new mohair soft-top hood, making for an enjoyable open-top driving experience. The well-maintained 2997cc V8 engine pulls strongly, aided by a Weber carburettor, and the Borg-Warner Model 35 gearbox shifts smoothly. Overall, DEE 353L performs impressively and captures the character of a classic British grand tourer.

The Stag is accompanied by a comprehensive history file containing hundreds of invoices from Triumph specialists Rimmer Brothers, documenting careful maintenance over the past 25 years.

Recent work includes a full strip, clean and tune of the Weber 38 DGMS carburettor, new cam cover gaskets, a brake master cylinder overhaul, and both ignition and engine servicing. This is a strong, reliable car that drives very well and is well suited to regular use, long-distance touring, and historic events, shows, and runs.
