We’ve loved following Lynda’s adventures with her Triumph Spitfire — and she’s been kind enough to send in another update from the road!
This time, Lynda and her Spitfire tackled the B6537 near Newcastleton, a stretch of tarmac she describes as “very Top Gear-esque” — and judging by the photo she sent, we can see why. Open, scenic, and full of character, it looks like the perfect road for classic motoring.
Her travels also took her to the iconic White Horse at Kilburn near York, where the Spitfire looked right at home against the backdrop of one of Yorkshire’s most recognisable landmarks. And for a dash of craftsmanship to rival the Triumph itself, she stopped by the famous Mouseman workshop of Robert Thompson, where some of the handmade furniture costs more than the car!
Thanks again, Lynda, for keeping us up to date — it’s always a joy to see your Spitfire being so thoroughly enjoyed. We can’t wait to hear where you and the car head next!
