At The Forge, we have a deep passion for British classic sports cars, but recently, we’ve developed a real soft spot for Italian classics, particularly the iconic Fiat 500.
A few months ago, we brought in a beautiful 1963 Fiat 500D into stock, and we instantly fell in love with it. It’s one of those cars that doesn’t matter who you are—the moment you see it, it just makes you smile. That’s what classic car motoring is all about—bringing fun, joy, and nostalgia.
Since then, we’ve gone on to acquire several more Fiat 500s, and we’ve been pleasantly surprised by the level of interest in them. Many of the cars we’ve sold have gone to customers using them as city cars, benefiting from no road tax, as well as exemptions from ULEZ and congestion charges.
Our fondness for these delightful Italian classics continues to grow, and we’re excited to bring more examples into stock in the future. We’ve also been impressed by the extensive parts backup available for the Fiat 500s and how reasonably priced they are.
