We are proud to present this superbly maintained 1995 MG RV8, finished in the ever-desirable Woodcote Green. Built on 1st May 1995, this example comes with an extensive history file,
evidencing the care and attention it has received throughout its life.
This RV8 benefits from a number of sought-after upgrades, including an EZ electric power steering conversion carried out by a recognised MG specialist, a new steering rack, a refurbished rear axle, and a replacement windscreen with frame. It has been regularly serviced and remains in excellent mechanical order. Accompanying the car are its original owner’s handbook, marketing brochure, tonneau cover, and factory black soft top—all in great condition.
First unveiled at the 1992 British International Motor Show under the proud slogan “The Marque Has Returned,” the RV8 was a limited-production model, with only 2,000 cars built. It proved especially popular in Japan, which accounted for around 75% of total production.
Constructed on a British Motor Heritage MGB body shell with reimagined styling, the RV8 is powered by Rover’s 3.9-litre V8 engine, producing 190PS and 320Nm of torque. Performance is brisk, with 0–60mph achieved in just 5.9 seconds, perfectly blending modern performance with classic character.
On the road, the RV8 offers a unique duality. At motorway speeds, it cruises effortlessly at just 2,500rpm, with luxurious leather trim, and quality audio making for a refined touring car.
Yet, when the mood strikes, drop a gear, mute the radio, and savour the unmistakable growl of the V8—a true reminder of MG’s sporting pedigree. Freshly serviced and MOT’d, this example is ready to be enjoyed immediately.
Supplied with a 3-month mechanical warranty, it represents an ideal opportunity to own a rare piece of British motoring heritage that combines refinement, performance, and timeless style.
