This past weekend, Richard and Diane took their beautifully presented RMB 900H to the Pembrokeshire Classic Car Show, held at the evocative setting of Carew Airfield. Once a key RAF site during the Second World War, Carew Airfield closed in 1945 and has since transitioned into agricultural and light industrial use. Its restored control tower, now known as Carew Cheriton Control Tower, has been turned into a small museum with exhibits from both World Wars—adding a real sense of occasion to this year’s show.

While RMB 900H didn’t take home a trophy (this year the honours went to a 1969 Gilbern and a stunning V12 Jaguar XJS), she certainly turned heads. "I thought RMB 900H must have come close," Richard told us. "There was certainly a lot of interest in her and she did look fantastic." We couldn’t agree more—and the photo he sent through says it all.

Even better, Richard made sure The Forge Prees was well represented on the day. A full spec sheet with our details was proudly displayed inside the car, sparking plenty of conversation. "I had a lot of people asking me where I got her from and about your setup," he said. "You’ll be pleased with what I had to say—and quite a few people said they’d be checking The Forge Prees out. I think you owe me a drink for the free advertising!"

We’re immensely proud that RMB 900H is continuing to shine out on the show circuit and even more grateful to have such wonderful customers like Richard flying the flag for The Forge. Thank you—and yes, that drink is definitely on us!
