A Milestone Worth a Moment

Every so often, it’s good to pause and take stock of the journey so far.

This week, we quietly passed a small milestone here at The Forge — we’ve now sold over £1.5 million worth of classic cars since we began. In the grand scheme of things, and especially when compared with some of the more established names in the world of classic car dealerships, it’s just a drop in the ocean. But for us, it means a great deal.

The Forge was built from scratch — literally and figuratively. No legacy business, no grand showroom to start with, just a love of classic cars and a desire to do things properly: transparently, fairly, and with care. Every car we’ve sourced, detailed, inspected, sold, and waved off has been part of something bigger than just a transaction. It’s been part of building trust, reputation, and a business we can be quietly proud of.

Reaching this point has only been possible because of the incredible support we’ve received — from customers, suppliers, local businesses, and fellow enthusiasts who took a chance on a smaller, independent start-up. For that, we are truly grateful.

This milestone doesn’t mark a finish line. Far from it. It’s a reminder that we’ve made a start — and that we need to keep working hard to earn our place in this brilliant, passionate sector. We’re more driven than ever to keep improving, to keep listening, and to keep finding the kinds of cars that bring people joy.
