Refurbishing Classics: A Shiny New Chapter for Our Wheels

At The Forge, we’re always on the lookout for local businesses who share our passion for quality and craftsmanship. So we’re thrilled to give a big thank you to Andy at Powder Coating Shropshire for his recent support with a couple of our classic car projects.

We recently turned to Andy to help us restore a set of wire wheels for a Triumph TR6 — and the results blew us away. Using a specialist chrome-effect powder coating, he’s managed to deliver a finish that beautifully mimics the original chrome, but with the durability and consistency of modern coating technology.

In another transformation, we asked Andy to carry out a wheel colour change on a Triumph TR3 — swapping out the standard black for a clean, bright silver. It’s a subtle change that’s made a big visual impact, really lifting the look of the car and giving it a crisper, more elegant feel.
