Last year, we had the pleasure of selling a custom-finished 1966 Triumph Spitfire MKII to Lynda, a passionate classic car enthusiast from Greater Manchester. Since then, she has kept in regular contact, sharing the incredible adventures she’s had touring with the car alongside her friends.
Just last night, we received this fantastic update—Lynda had just arrived home after a 224-mile round trip to Withern in Lincolnshire. She told us she had a wonderful day in a wonderful car and is still smiling.
Her words say it all:
"I absolutely love this car and am having so much fun—I’m like a Cheshire cat when we’re out on the road! My friend and I are planning another ‘Girls Grand Tour’ in May, heading up to the Scottish border. I’ll be sure to send more photos of our adventures!"
This is exactly what classic car ownership is all about—having fun, creating memories with friends and family, and exploring the stunning British countryside while letting others admire these beautiful machines along the way.
