Today, I was offered this rare and highly collectible Caterham Seven 40th Anniversary Edition, finished in stunning Ruby Pearlescent with a Silver bonnet stripe and black coachline. But what makes this one truly exceptional? It’s plaque number 1 of just 67 produced—the very first of this exclusive anniversary series!
Originally showcased at the 1996 Motorshow, this factory-built example remains in outstanding condition.
The moment I saw the first photo, I knew—I had to have it!
Now safely at The Forge, it will undergo a full health check, service, and MOT in the coming days to ensure it’s in top condition before hitting the road… or maybe even the track!
